This site was inaugurated by the late Father Victor Sokolov on December 13, 1998, the fifteenth anniversary of the blessed repose of the beloved Teacher of the Church, Father Alexander Schmemann.

In honor of the twentieth anniversary of Father's repose, we are happy to present in Quicktime Video format The Spirit of St. Vladimir's, a commemorative television program that originally aired following his death.
Update December 13, 2004 - We are honored to present in Quicktime Video format a slide show of photographs from the funeral of Father Alexander Schmemann. It is accompanied by a recording of the singing at his funeral.
